Mark of the Succubus

Summary from Tokyopop:

The story revolves chiefly around a boy named Aiden Landis, a normal 17-year-old attempting to discover what, exactly, he wants out of life. His father thinks he’d make an excellent lawyer, his girlfriend’s set on making him into the envy of all her friends, and his teachers are all convinced that he could be a top student if he’d only stop daydreaming. The problem is…Aiden’s not sure that he agrees with any of them. To be honest, the only thing he’d really like to do is spend some time alone in his room with his guitar…and maybe, just maybe, write a song that people want to hear.

Enter Maeve, a fledgling succubus. In other words, she’s a demon who has never been to the Humanworld before. She’s not sure how to dress, or talk, or act around humans– and what’s more, she isn’t sure that she’d like to seduce and kill one. Which could prove quite a bit difficult for her, as that is exactly the reason that she’s being sent to mingle with humans in the first place. And when she ends up falling in love with the same mortal that she’s placed her Mark on, sentencing him to die, only trouble can result from such a blatant breaking of demon law.
